Stop Wondering. Start Acting Now!

Get the silly mistakes out of the way.

They all fall into the same traps...

A business plan should be a money-making tool but many wantrepreneurs turn them into deal killers! Why? Because they fall into typical traps that make them look inexperienced, unprepared, unstructured, and unreliable.

That’s silly, because whether you need to raise money, find new partners or build a direction and strategy for your team (and yourself), a business plan should be a way to get money in the bank!

For instance?

  • They communicate on the wrong value proposition.
  • They fail to leverage their market research.
  • They focus on the money they want, not on the value they create for the investor.
  • They get the financial logic wrong.
  • They can’t defend their numbers.
  • They focus on their doubts instead of reinforcing their strengths.

So forth and so on!

With a simple two-hour call, however, you get a unique chance to talk someone through your business plan project. And you get the feedback you need to get to the next step!

Imagine. What if you could...

Ensure it all makes sense!

The reality is, seeing clearly through your own business plan is always a difficult task, and you probably don’t have anyone around you to brainstorm with or to get reliable feedback from. Otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this page, right?

What that means is simple: you are driving blind. Your business plan probably reflects what you have in mind, but it hasn’t been challenged, and you have no idea of how someone seasoned with business proposal will perceive it and react.

  • You can’t tell if your thinking is sharp enough.
  • You can’t tell what they’ll think and how they’ll react.
  • You can’t anticipate the breaking points they’ll hit on – ouch!
  • And you can’t tell what blindspots could break your deal before it ever happens!

Fact: there is a code to crack and doing it alone is tough.

The issue is not “whether’ you will hit a glass ceiling. It’s “when” you hit it. And the only thing that stands between that ceiling and you is… whether or not you decide to get challenged.

Business plans follow a code that we decoded for you in our business plan video course. Still, doing this alone is tough because feedback remain key!

Without feedback, you have no way to identify blind spots. And if you can’t anticipate blind spots, you have no chance of getting through!

Clear your mind. It's essential!

Get challenged.

There is no mystery here: those who can get external feedback gain immense insights that can then be turned into money. And they avoid looking stupid when confronted to seasoned people who know better.

  • Can you tell where your storytelling and pitch suck?
  • Can you tell where your numbers are weak?
  • Can you tell why the money you ask is making no sense?
  • Can you tell why you aren’t asking enough money for your shares?

Probably not. And you won’t be able to unless you get someone to challenge you.

There are no silly questions, but you have to ask!

There are no silly questions, but you have to ask them before it’s too late. Not after!

They say 7 out of 10 businesses fail within 10 years. But, without going that far, can you imagine how many project owners fail at the basic funding stage, simply because they were not prepared or because someone else was more prepared than them?

We know investors because we work with them on a routine basis. And what they tell us is simple: project owners don’t get funded because they are not structured enough, or because their project wasn’t serious enough compared to others. Period!

The question is: will you anticipate and make a difference, or will you decide to wait and pay the consequences of inaction?

Let's cut the cr**.

FAQ

Once your call is booked, we will connect you with a business coach who will get in touch with you.

After reading your business plan draft, our coach will use the session to challenge your proposal on various counts, ranging from your value proposition and pitch, to your business model, and of course your financial estimates and your equity expectations.

That depends! We try to connect you with someone as close to you as possible (and also take into consideration the availability of our experts), but if you see a coach you’d like to work with on the platform then we will also try to adapt as much as possible.

Sessions last up to two hours, depending on the time you need. That gives us enough time to provide feedback (on what we read) and to question your thoughts in depth in a discussion format.

Yes and no. The point of the call is to provide feedback on your proposal and to make improvement suggestions, but it is not to write the proposal for you. If you come unprepared to the session, we will do the best we can but chances are that you will feel frustrated by the process – think about it!

That would really depends on where you are, and where your coach is. We have accomodated entrepreneurs with in-person sessions in the past, but most of the discussions happen online.

Unfortunately, no. Again, the point of the call is to provide feedback on the preparation work you have done, hence we need you to do your part of the work first.

Besides, the tool comes with a few hours of training videos, which will save time during the session because most of the questions are treated there already!

Kindly start with The Business Plan Builder if you haven’t done so already!

You should always check your business plan with an accountant and lawyer. Having a third-party opinion with a business coach will give you some insights and food for thought, but the sessions should never be considered as a validation of your proposal.

No need to get in touch with a coach (let alone multiple coaches for that matter) – simply use the form below and we’ll do the heavy lifting.
