The Impactified Business SWOT Analysis training course is designed for entrepreneurs, company CEOs, directors, partners and managers who want to gain a clear 360-degree big picture of their business, with a reliable mapping of their strengths and weaknesses, in order to develop an operational development strategy adapted to their reality.Impactified
Training Prerequisites
- Hold a managerial position in the company, at a decision-making level (Founder, Managing Director, CEO, Director or Manager or other management positions requiring a very thorough overview of the company) or a management status contract
- The Company must have an active business registration and at least one year of existence in order to obtain an operational and fully reliable big picture
During the course, trainees will learn:
To understand the six major areas of business development at the basis of a reliable and operational SWOT:
- Global vision of the company in its market
- Resilience and resistance of the business model
- Evaluation of commercial traction and robustness
- Optimization of the organization
- Influence of the leadership on teams
- Knowledge and optimization of acceleration factors.
To analyze the operational performance of a company, identify its weaknesses, strengths, opportunities, and threats – based on the above-mentioned axes.
To analyze the operational performance of the company, using an analysis framework (and tool) built around seventy questions calibrated for this purpose.
To turn a theoretical SWOT analysis into a series of concrete and clearly operational strategic actions (TOWS) aiming at making the company evolve in the short, medium, and long term: the most offensive one by optimizing Strengths and Opportunities, another dynamic one based on Strengths and Threats, a third one more cautious by mixing Weaknesses and Opportunities, to finish with the most defensive one by reducing the remaining Weaknesses and Threats
To draw up a clear action plan, which will be the measurable factor in the success of the training.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Identify the major and secondary axes of analysis of a company’s performance
Formulate the core questions of a SWOT analysis
Draw up a strategic mapping of their company, reflecting its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
Define an operational action strategy based on the results of their SWOT mapping
Each course will be supervised by a certified Impactified coach – it is to be noted that as of 10/09/2021, the brand has already conducted 100+ pre-service trainings in equivalent and/or identical formats.
The educational content has been continuously developed since 2011, and regularly improved with several dozen entrepreneurs. It includes :
1. A theoretical framework (20%)
2. A very operational framework (80%), necessary to the proper understanding of the issues faced by company managers who generally keep their “nose to the grindstone». This framework will then enable the participants to reproduce the exercise internally each year, with their teams.
In addition, technical tools are mobilized, namely:
1. An online platform to unfold the concepts in a series of seventy questions calibrated to get participants to think concretely about their business.
2. A final report, produced breakdown the insights into Strength, Opportunity, Weakness and Threat.
3. A tool for transforming the theoretical SWOT into a concrete and immediately achievable strategy.
Course outline / Training Content
- An in-depth explanation of the SWOT and TOWS concepts
- An in-depth explanation of the 6 structural axes
- Practice of the SWOT questionnaire,
- A conclusion as to the participants’ preliminary thoughts, following the exercise.
- The sharing of the report produced by the platform www.swot.impactified.com
- A reminder of the 6 structural axes
- An analysis of the results, taking into account the participants’ own perceptions and the actual analysis produced by the tool
- An analysis of the company’s Strengths, Opportunities, Weaknesses and Threats.
- Strategic and operational thinking on how to reconcile Strengths and Opportunities, Strengths and Threats, Weaknesses and Opportunities, Weaknesses and Threats.
- The trainee should write an outline of these 4 strategies on an attached document.
Monitoring and Evaluation Arrangements
The following monitoring resources have been mobilized:
- Attendance sheet for each half day.
- A quiz on the objectives of the training.
Deliverables
- The report given at the end of the presentation serves as a training aid, in addition to the practical workbook.
- The report provides the participant with a visual illustration of where the company stands, on each of the six axes. It reconciles the level of performance initially “perceived” by the participants with the assessment scored produced by the report.
- The tool provides the participants with 70 questions calibrated to identify the company’s operational Strength/Opportunity/Weakness and Threats, and helps the participants to understand how to apply each point to their specific situation while providing additional reading materials to broaden their level of understanding.
- It also provides an explained summary table to be used and filled by the participant to materialize their understanding of the issues and strategic conclusions.
Duration and organization:
The training will take place over two half days of approximately three hours and thirty minutes each.
Location:
The training will take place online or in a dedicated workspace, depending on the participants proximity with the trainer(s) and will host up to 10 participants per session to foster exchanges.
Accessibility:
The training is open to all and can be done by all, however for any disability situation please contact the trainer to organize the sessions in the best way.
Access time:
The participants must register for the training up to 48 hours before the start of the workshop.
